Fyodor Nikititsch Kolbe

Fyodor Nikitich Kolbe ( Russian Фёдор Никитич Кольбе ; born March 7 . Jul / 19th March  1861 greg. In Moscow ) was a Russian architect .

Life

Kolbe, son of the architect of the Moscow court office Nikita Fjodorowitsch Kolbe, studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture , graduating in 1886 as a classified artist of architecture with a small silver medal for the project of a noble house in a governorate town . In that year he began building a villa on Malaya Nikitskaya Ulitsa 19. In 1889 he became the architect of the Petrovskaya Academy of Agriculture in Moscow. Together with the architect Alexander Petrovich Popov , he built the enclosure with towers for the Pokrovskoye-Streschnewo mansion from 1889–1890. In 1891 he built outbuildings of the Sabashnikov manor house. More buildings followed. In 1893 he became a member of the Moscow Architectural Society. 1894–1895 Kolbe renewed the altars of the Exaltation of the Cross (1. Pereulok Truschenikow 8).

In 1896 Kolbe joined the Moscow Municipal Credit Company. 1899–1900 he built a villa for himself on 1st Neopalimowski Pereulok 12, which is currently used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation . 1899–1901 he built the so-called Kolbe tenement house Bolschaja Jakimanka 15/20, which was demolished in 2011. 1903–1904 the A.-A.-Kunin tenement house (Smolenski Bulwar 2/40) was built. For Shchukin's Museum of Russian Antiquities (Malaya Grusinskaya Uliza 15, now Timirjasew Museum of Biology ), Kolbe built a one-story warehouse building for historical documents from 1904–1905. For the manor house Gorki he laid out 1913–1915 the farm yard with a water tower , horse stables and garden houses in the park.

After the October Revolution , he continued to work at the Moscow Municipal Credit Company, of which he was a member of the evaluation committee from 1919. In 1920 he moved to the construction department of the Moscow City Soviet ( Mossoviet ).
