geography
course
The Flüebach , also called Dorfbach by some , rises from the Egerkinger Flüematt at an altitude of about 605 m above sea level. M. in a forest meadow a good half a kilometer north of Egerkingen .
The Flüebach pours down from the headwaters in a southerly direction over the steep and striking rock face of the Flüe. After about 250 it is reinforced by a second branch on the right. It now flows south-east and forms the Flüebach pond almost 100 m downstream. The Tellibach, which comes from the east-northeast, also flows into this pond.
It now rushes in an almost southward direction through forest terrain down to the village, where it is largely overturned or overbuilt and finally flows out at an altitude of 430 m above sea level. M. from the left and north-northwest in the contracting the from the southwest Dünnern .
Its 1.3 km long run ends about 175 meters below its source, so it has an average bottom gradient of about 14%.
