Bottle Children is a 1974 documentary by Peter Krieg . The film shows how Nestlé spread artificial baby food in Africa and thereby promoted infant mortality .

The film was produced by Teldoc Film . It premiered in February 1974 and was awarded by Zentral-Film . Its English title is Bottle babies . He was awarded a silver medal at the International Science & Technology Festival in Tokyo in 1976.

The film triggered the Nestlé boycott .
