The Flora River is a river in the north of the Australian territory Northern Territory .

geography

River course

The river has its source in the Menngen Aboriginal Reserve , near the settlement of Wombungi . From its source it initially flows north, but soon turns its course to the east. It flows through the small town of Djarrung and continues its way to the northeast, through the Flora River Nature Park . At the northern end of this state reserve, on Round Hill , it joins the Katherine River to form the Daly River .
