Jean-Florent Ikwange Ibengé (born December 4, 1961 in Kinshasa ) is a former Congolese - French football player .
Career
As a player
The defender was in his playing days at Iris Club de Lambersart , Tennis Borussia Berlin , de Iris Club Lambersart , Olympique Marcquois Football , OS Fives, Roubaix Football, SCO Roubaix 59, US Boulogne , Capreau Sports Wasquehal and Olympique Métropole Mons-en-Barœul active .
As a trainer
After he ended his active career in summer 2004, he was initially unemployed in football. The following year he started his coaching career in June 2005 with his former club OS Fives. He then remained coach of the Olympique Sportive Fives de Lille for three years and was offered the position of assistant coach of the national soccer team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2008 . After Patrick Nova was dismissed as national coach, he got the vacant position as head coach of DR Congo . He remained the national coach of his native country until March 2009 and returned to his former club OS Fives in summer 2009. In summer 2010 Ibengé went for one season as a coach at SC Douai and coached the club until April 2011. In summer 2011 returned to OS Fives, where he coached the Promotion d'Honneur Régional professional team until April 2012 . After Jean Tigana was sacked in China, Ibengé was appointed team boss of the Chinese first division club Shanghai Shenhua because the player- coach Nicolas Anelka does not have a coaching license. On May 30, 2012, Sergio Batista was signed by Shanghai Shenhua as the new coach, Ibengé will assist Batista as an assistant coach.
