Florian Mock

Florian Mock (* 1974 in Augsburg ) is a German opera, operetta, lied and concert singer ( lyric tenor ).

Life

His talent as a singer showed very early on. He studied singing at the Leopold Mozart Conservatory in his hometown and with Marianne Fischer-Kupfer in Berlin. Florian Mock also completed master classes a. a. with Nicolai Gedda and Raul Giménéz . In 1997 he made his debut at the Junge Staatsoper Stuttgart, then at the Bonn Opera as Fenton in Falstaff (Verdi) . The singer became a permanent member of the ensemble on the latter stage in 1998, before moving to the Komische Oper Berlin in 2000 . He was engaged at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz from 2003 to 2007, where he had previously appeared in important Mozart roles several times.

Guest engagements took Florian Mock to the music stages of Kassel, Hamburg, Bonn, Wiesbaden, Augsburg, Mainz, Weimar, Schwerin, Vienna etc. He could be heard and seen in the following roles: Ferrando in Così fan tutte , Belmonte in Die Entführung aus the Seraglio , Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville , Marquis of Chateauneuf in Tsar and Carpenter , Agenore in Il re pastore , Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor , Andres in Wozzeck , Gustl in Land of Smiles , Caramello in One Night in Venice and others . v. a. He also sang Petrus in Antonio Salieri's La passione di nostro signore Gesù Cristo under the direction of Christoph Spering .

Florian Mock sang at renowned festivals and in important concert halls, such as For example: Berlin and Cologne Philharmonic , Beethoven Festival Bonn, Tonhalle Düsseldorf , Rheingau Music Festival, Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad and Ludwigsburg Castle Festival .
