Florian Mohr (born August 25, 1984 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

The defender comes from Hamburg, where he played for SC Eilbek Hamburg in his youth and for Concordia Hamburg from 1994 to 2004 , most recently in the Oberliga Nord . In 2003 he was voted Hamburg's amateur footballer of the year. In 2004 Mohr moved to Werder Bremen , where he was temporarily part of the professional squad. Until his move in summer 2008 to the then third division club SC Paderborn 07 , he was only used in the Bremen U-23 youth team.

At the third division he was a regular player in central defense from the start and played all season games over 90 minutes apart from two substitutions. The Paderborn team rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2009 and Mohr maintained his regular place there for the next two years.

During the winter break of the 2011/12 season , Mohr signed a contract with league rivals FC St. Pauli until 2014 and moved back to his home town of Hamburg for the 2012/13 season .

For the 2014/15 season, Mohr then moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth , where he signed a two-year contract.
