Florian Vogel (dramaturge)

Florian Vogel (born July 19, 1974 in Stuttgart ) is a German dramaturge and former artistic director at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg .

Life

Florian Vogel studied art history , German literature and rhetoric at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . In 1994 he received his first engagement at the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera and was dramaturge at the State Theater in Stuttgart from 2000 to 2005 . There he managed the HI venue . Florian Vogel has been the dramaturge at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg since 2005 and has been the managing dramaturge there since 2008. In September 2010, after the premature departure of Friedrich Schirmer, he took over the interim artistic direction of the theater for two years.

Vogel has been a senior jury member for the Kleist Prize of the Dramaturgical Society since 2000 . He lives with his partner in the Hamburg district of Eppendorf .
