The George FL Charles Airport , until 1997 called Castries Vigie Airport is an airport on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia . It is located north of the capital Castries in the northwest of the island. In addition to George FL Charles Airport, St. Lucia also has the larger Hewanorra International Airport , which is located at the southern end of the island.
