The Læsø Airport , and airport Læsø , in Danish Læsø Lufthavn is an airfield on the belonging to Denmark island Læsø near the town of Byrum .

The airport is in the middle of the island. It consists of a nearly one kilometer long asphalt runway , grass aprons and a passenger and administration building in the form of a small wooden house. The airport is not served by public transport, but can only be reached by taxi, private car, bicycle or on foot. It is operated by the Læsøer Kommune .

The airport is used almost exclusively by recreational pilots. Since 1973, however, there has also been a scheduled flight connection via Anholt to Copenhagen-Roskilde Airport , which is operated by the Copenhagen Air Taxi company with single-engine fan guns.
