The Ruhnu Airfield ( Estonian Ruhnu lennuväli ) is located in the south of the Estonian island of Ruhnu in the Riga Bay .
The runway is 600 m long and 60 m wide. It is not paved. The runway can accommodate aircraft up to a weight of seven tons. Next to it is a newly built airport terminal.
The owner is Kuressaare Airport , which is owned by the operator of Tallinn Airport ( Tallinna Lennujaam AS ).
There are regular flight connections to and from Ruhnu with Pärnu and Kuressaare . The air distance to Kuressaare is 75 km. The flights will be operated from November 2006 to 2014 by the German company LFH . For this purpose, she has stationed a Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander with a professional pilot in the Estonian city of Pärnu.
