History and destinations

The airline started with six domestic routes and one international flight from Almaty International Airport to Taraz , Shymkent , Pavlodar , Uralsk , Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana) Karaganda and Moscow . Initially, Air Astana provided two Airbus A320 from its own fleet as part of its air traffic operator certificate . The flight times are between one to three hours.
