Fokkoline Swart

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fokkoline Swart (* 1953 in Wymeer ) is a German evangelist specializing in children's missions and a singer of Christian music .

After her training as a nurse, Fokkoline Swart studied from 1975 to 1977 at the St. Chrischona Bible School in Switzerland. Then in 1977 she became the first full-time child missionary of the German tent mission . The mobile mission made her known nationwide. The Swedish arranger and music producer Nils Kjellström , then working for the Christian publishing house Schulte & Gerth , recognized the evangelist's musical talent and produced an album with her under the title When the day begins . Contributors to this debut album include musicians such as Helmut Jost and Frieder Jost from Damaris Joy and the Wetzlar Youth Choir . The successful first work was followed a few years later by another production under the title Friede mit dich . Both records were released in coproduction with the Missionswerk ... because everyone should hear the message . In the following, however, Fokkoline Swart concentrated exclusively on her evangelistic work.
