The Fold Lake ( English for Faltensee ) is a small, oval lake off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located on Manning Island in the Larsemann Hills area .
The team of a campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions carried out from 1986 to 1987 named it after the folds in the rock of the valley in which the lake lies. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia recognized this designation on November 24, 1987.
