Folx TV is a German-language free TV broadcaster from Slovenia , which has been receivable since April 15, 2013 via the Astra satellite with the orbital position 19.2 degrees East. It is a music channel for Germany, Austria and Switzerland that offers musicians from the folk music scene a platform and wants to enable them to produce music videos. It is broadcast from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana , with the Folx Quiz being produced in Unterföhring near Munich since February 26, 2016. The broadcaster has other branches in Hechingen in Baden-Württemberg and Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Carinthia .
