Forced Entry was an American thrash metal band from Seattle , Washington that was founded in 1982 under the name Critical Condition and broke up in 1995. In 2002 the band got together again for a few gigs.

history

The band was founded in 1982 by friends singer and bassist Tony Benjamin and guitarist Brad Hull under the name Critical Condition. At first they played covers of Kiss , Judas Priest and Iron Maiden . In 1984, Colin Mattson, a drummer, joined the band. In April 1987 they recorded the first demo called All Fucked Up , which was followed by the next demo, Thrashing Helpless Down, in 1988. In 1989 the band released their debut album Uncertain Future on Combat Records . The release was followed by tours with Coroner , Atrophy , Sacred Reich, and Obituary . In 1991, As Above, So Below, Relativity Records' second album followed . After the band split from the label, they released the EP The Shore in 1995. The band played their last concert in Seattle on August 25, 1995 in front of 3000 fans.

In 2002 the band got back together for a few concerts.
