The Forrest Pass is a wide and icy mountain pass in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It lies between Mount Bursey in the Flood Range and the southern elevations of the Ames Range .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the pass in 1966 after the glaciologist Robert B. Forrest, who worked from 1962 to 1963 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program had participated in a reconnaissance march from Byrd Station to the Whitmore Mountains.
