Fort-Mardyck is a former commune in the Nord department in France . Today it belongs to the city of Dunkerque ( German  Dunkirk ).

Fort-Mardyck is two kilometers northeast of Grande-Synthe . The area of ​​the former municipality was only 141 hectares. Fort-Mardyck in close proximity to the English Channel .
