The Forum Kirchenmusik (formerly: Der Kirchenmusiker ) is a German specialist journal for Protestant church musicians in Germany and at the same time the journal of the Protestant Church Music Association .
The Forum Kirchenmusik has been published every two months since it was founded by Adolf Strube in 1949 , is published by Strube-Verlag ( Munich ) and, along with the Catholic Musica Sacra and Musik und Kirche, is one of the only national journals in this area.
In addition to composer portraits, sheet music publications / reviews, the presentation of new organs and musicological essays, the forum also contains a mostly topical theme and job advertisements.
