Fossilryggen ( Norwegian for fossil back ) is a nunatak in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It projects east of Plogbreen in the crawl mountains on.
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1970 after the fossils discovered here .
