Foudgum is a small village in the municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân in the Dutch province of Friesland . It is located northwest of Dokkum and has 70 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
At the village church there is a monument in honor of Piet Paaltjens , who worked as a pastor in Foudgum from 1859.
