The music was by Karl Sikora, the text book by H. Wilmers (pseudonym). Karl Fürmann was the musical director.
content
Eusebius Mayer, a travel writer who calls himself Old Shatterhand , comes to the Apaches . There he meets Winnetou and his sister Nigotki, who falls in love with him. Tangua , the designated groom, wants revenge and only Nigotki can save the white man from the torture stake . Back in Europe (and on the run from marriage) Mayer now writes reports in which he is the hero - until his Apaches suddenly appear in Dresden and force him to rewrite his novels.
review
- "As you can see, the matter is unusually tasteless, but precisely because of this it is indicative of the low point in today's operetta."
Remarks
The names of the actors mostly come from “ Der Humorist ” from April 10, 1916, p. 6.
