Frédéric Desenclos
Frédéric Desenclos (* 1961 ) is a French organist.
Desenclos is a son of the composer Alfred Desenclos . He studied organ with Gaston Litaize and André Isoir as well as composition and music history at the Conservatoire de Paris . He won prizes at the European Organ Competition in Bolton (1992) and the International Organ Competition in Odense (1994). He works as organist at the Chapelle Royale in Versailles and musical advisor to the city's Center de Musique Baroque . He is also a professor of organ at the École normal de musique in Orsay and at the Conservatory of Versailles.
Desenclos is best known as an interpreter of the French baroque repertoire (including Marc-Antoine Charpentier , Nicolas de Grigny ). He performed at concerts in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium a. a. and played several albums.
