Martinskirche in Fraham

history

Around the year 990 a church of St. Martin mentioned in a document. Since around 1220 the parishes of Aschau, Fraham and St. Erasmus have formed a single parish, and pastors have always been canons from the Au am Inn monastery . Fraham originally belonged to the Kraiburg nursing court and the Burghausen Rent Office . With the parish edict of 1818 it became an independent parish. On July 1, 1976, the districts of Bergham, Fraham, Klugham, Buchtal, Reit and Urfahrn with a total of 158 inhabitants were incorporated into Aschau am Inn from the municipality of Fraham.
