François Coulombe-Fortier (born November 15, 1984 in Québec ) is a Canadian Taekwondoin who starts in the heavyweight division.

Coulombe-Fortier starts for the Club Taekwondo Sainte-Foy , he is trained by Alain Bernier. He contested his first international title fights at the 2003 World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where he reached the second round in the class up to 78 kilograms. He won his first medal the next year with bronze at the Pan American Championship in Santo Domingo . In the following years there were no further international successes. Only with the title in the class up to 87 kilograms at the Pan American Championship 2010 in Monterrey was he able to draw attention again. Coulombe-Fortier won the bronze medal in the over 80 kilogram class at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara . At the 2011 American Olympic qualification tournament in Santiago de Querétaro , he reached the final against Robelis Despaigne in the same weight class and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London .

Coulombe-Fortier studies mechanical engineering at Laval University .
