François Sureau
François Sureau (born September 19, 1957 in Paris ) is a French writer.
Life
François Sureau is the son of a doctor, his sister Véronique Sales, born in 1961, is a writer. He studied law at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris and at the École nationale d'administration (ENA) and has been working as a lawyer in Paris since 1995 and is Maître des requêtes at the Conseil d'Etat . He was co-founder in 1986 and is co-editor of the magazine Revue française d'économie . He also writes for La Croix newspaper and Commentaire magazine .
Sureau received the Prix Colette in 1988 for the novel La Corruption du siècle , in 1990 the Prix du roman de l'Académie française for L'Infortune and the Prix Goncourt de la Nouvelle in 1997 for Le Sphinx de Darwin . Also in 2003 the Prix Méditerranée for Les Alexandrins .
