Fran Lhotka (born December 25, 1883 in Mladá Vožice , Austria-Hungary , † January 26, 1962 in Zagreb , SFR Yugoslavia ) was a Yugoslav composer of Czech origin.

Lhotka studied at the Prague Conservatory from 1899 to 1905 with Antonín Dvořák , Josef Klička and Karel Stecker. From 1909 to 1912 he was a member of the orchestra and répétiteur at the National Theater in Zagreb , then until 1920 he was the conductor of the Lisinski choir. From 1920 to 1961 he taught as a professor at the city's conservatory .

He composed four operas and five ballets, a symphony, a violin concerto, two Croatian rhapsodies for violin and chamber orchestra, chamber music works, choirs, folk song arrangements and film music. He also wrote a textbook on harmony and a textbook on conducting.
