Frances Slaap

Frances Slaap ( Frances Mary Slaap; born June 25, 1941 in the London Borough of Ealing ) is a former British high jumper and hurdler .

At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, she came in sixth place in the high jump .

In 1962 she was ninth in the high jump at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade . At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth , she started fifth in the high jump for England and was eliminated in the 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

At the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, she was again sixth in the high jump .

In 1964 and 1965 she was English champion and in 1962 and 1964 English indoor champion in high jump.
