Francesca Segal
Francesca Segal (born 1980 in London ) is an American-British journalist and writer.
Life
Francesca Segal is one of two daughters of Karen Marianne James and of the American author Erich Segal . She grew up in London and studied in Oxford at St Hugh's College and Harvard University . Since then, she has worked as a freelance journalist for The Guardian , Vogue , The Observer and the Financial Times, among others . She lives in Boston and London.
Her first novel, The Innocents , received the First Novel Costa Book Award and other recognitions in 2012, and was on the longlist of the Women's Prize for Fiction in 2013 .
