Francesco Randon

Francesco Randon (born November 23, 1925 in Castelgomberto , † July 12, 2015 in Bergamo ) was an Italian football player .

Athletic career

Randon made his debut at the resumption of play after the Second World War for the local football club from Cassano d'Adda . In 1946 he moved to Atalanta Bergamo in Serie A , where he contributed as a regular in midfield in the 1947/48 season to reaching fifth place in the table, which was the best result in the club's history for a long time. In 1950 he moved to Catania Calcio in the second-class Serie B , after two seasons he returned to the top division and played seven seasons for AGC Bologna . He let his career end with Brescia Calcio in Serie B.

In total, he scored 22 goals in 252 first division games in Serie A, plus 23 goals in 78 second division games in Serie B.
