Francesco Sanmartino

Francesco Sanmartino (born February 28, 1911 in Nichelino , Italy , † March 21, 1983 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Turin .

Life

Francesco Sanmartino received on 29 June 1938, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 7, 1966, Pope Paul VI appointed him . as titular bishop of Summula and auxiliary bishop in Turin. The Archbishop of Turin, Michele Pellegrino , ordained him episcopal on April 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Turin, Francesco Bottino , and the bishop of Biella , Carlo Rossi .

Sanmartino resigned as auxiliary bishop in Turin in July 1977.
