Francesco Bottino

Francesco Bottino (born February 17, 1894 in Chialamberto , Italy , † March 20, 1973 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Turin .

Life

Francesco Bottino received on 29 June 1920, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 13, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Sebaste in Palestine and auxiliary bishop in Turin. The Archbishop of Turin, Maurilio Cardinal Fossati OSSGCN , donated him episcopal ordination on March 7, 1948 ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Turin, Giovanni Battista Pinardi , and the emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Nyeri , Carlo Re IMC .

Bottino attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
