Giovanni Battista Pinardi

Giovanni Battista Pinardi (born August 15, 1880 in Castagnole Piemonte , Italy , † August 2, 1962 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Turin .

Life

Giovanni Battista Pinardi received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Turin on June 29, 1903 .

On January 24, 1916, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . the titular bishop of Eudoxias and auxiliary bishop in Turin. The Turin Auxiliary Bishop Costanzo Castrale donated him episcopal ordination on March 5 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Novara , Giuseppe Gamba , and the Turin Auxiliary Bishop Angelo Bartolomasi .

As part of the beatification process initiated for him, Pope Francis awarded him the heroic degree of virtue on May 13, 2019 .
