Francis Robert Naali

Francis Robert Naali (born January 12, 1972 ) is a former Tanzanian marathon runner .

In 1993 he won the Göteborgsvarvet , in which his brothers Simon Robert Naali (1989) and Thomas Robert Naali (1990) had previously won.

In 1996 he finished second in the Berlin Marathon . He gave up at the 1997 World Athletics Championships marathon in Athens. In 1999 he finished second and in 2001 fifth in the Bredase Singelloop .

In 2002 he won the Commonwealth Games marathon in Manchester in 2:11:58 h. Four years later, he finished eighth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

At the World Cross Country Championships he was 53rd in 1999 in Belfast and 73rd in Saint-Galmier in 2005 .
