Francis Spain

Francis James Spain (born February 17, 1909 in Quitman , Georgia , † June 23, 1977 in Rochester , New York ) was an American ice hockey player .

Career

Francis Spain first attended Phillips Exeter Academy and then Dartmouth College . In parallel to his studies, he played ice hockey and baseball . He then ran for the Boston Olympics amateur ice hockey team. After his ice hockey career, he worked as a businessman.

International

For the USA , Spain took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where he and his team won the bronze medal.
