Francisco Bueso Cuéllar (* 1860 in Santa Rosa de Copán ) was President of Honduras from March 10 to 27, 1924 .

Francisco Bueso was Rafael López Gutiérrez's deputy from 1923 to 1924 with Francisco Paredes Fajardo and Miguel Oquelí Bustillo . In the 1923 presidential election, none of the candidates received an absolute majority. General Tiburcio Carías Andino of the Partido Nacional de Honduras received the most votes. According to the constitution, the parliament appoints a president by law. In October 1923, Rafael López Gutiérrez dissolved parliament. In February 1924 his term of office expired and Rafael López Gutiérrez decreed a state of emergency .

The supporters of the Partido Nacional de Honduras and an opposition faction of the Partido Liberal de Honduras in the army occupied cities in Honduras. In February 1924, Rafael López Gutiérrez left Tegucigalpa for Amapala. He wanted to go on to the USA and have his diabetes mellitus treated there, but this failed and he died on March 10, 1924 in Amapala, whereby the office of president went to Bueso.

From March 10 to April 22, 1924, Bueso ruled in a government cabinet with Rómulo Durón (Comayagüela, 1865-Tegucigalpa, 1942), José María Ochoa Velásquez and Marcial Lagos. From April 22 to April 27, 1924, General Toribio Ramos Pérez was added to this government cabinet .
