Francisco Javier Gómez Hernández

Francisco Javier Gómez Hernández (born May 20, 1967 in León , Guanajuato ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

Gómez began his professional career at Club Atlético Monarcas Morelia , where he was under contract between 1986/87 and 1994/95.

He then moved to the UANL Tigres , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in the 1995/96 season . In the same season, however, the club was relegated to the second division , but managed to immediately return to the top division by winning both the 1996 winter tournament and the 1997 summer tournament .

In 1999 Gómez moved to Puebla FC and then he was still in action for the second division clubs Lagartos de Tabasco and Alacranes de Durango .
