Franco Lovignana (born November 22, 1957 in Aosta , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and Bishop of Aosta .

Life

Franco Lovignana received on June 21 in 1981 by the bishop of Aosta, Ovidio Lari , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 9, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Aosta. The Archbishop of Turin , Cesare Nosiglia , donated him episcopal ordination on December 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ventimiglia-San Remo , Alberto Maria Careggio , and the Bishop Emeritus of Aosta, Giuseppe Anfossi .
