Franco Maugeri
Francesco "Franco" Maugeri (born October 14, 1898 in Gela , † September 8, 1978 in Turin ) was an Italian admiral .
Life
Maugeri served during the Second World War from May 22, 1941 until the armistice on September 8, 1943 as head of the Italian naval intelligence service .
After the Second World War he worked a. a. 1946 as commander of the war port in La Spezia and finally from December 31, 1946 to November 4, 1948 as chief of the admiral staff of the Italian navy and commanding admiral of the coastal section command in Naples .
