Frane Čačić (born June 25, 1980 in Zagreb , SR Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian football player .
Frane Čačić began his professional career in his hometown of Zagreb at NK Zagreb . At first he could not prevail. The breakthrough came in his third professional season in 2000/01. In this he completed 17 games and scored 1 goal. In the following season 2001/02 he was with the NK Zagreb Croatian champion. In 2003, Čačić moved to the Croatian top club Hajduk Split . Here he did not get beyond the reserve role after initially performing well. After a total of 41 league games in which he scored 6 goals and two other championship titles, he moved to league rivals NK Varteks Varaždin in 2006 . After the first half of 2006/07, Čačić was sold to the South Korean club Busan I'Park . For the 2008/2009 season he was hired in Poland by the traditional club and promoted Lechia Gdańsk .
