Frank Bossard

Frank Clifton Bossard (born December 13, 1912 in Driffield , † June 19, 2001 in Hull ) was a British spy .

Bossard joined the Royal Air Force in 1939 , where he became an officer. After the war he was stationed for MI6 at the British embassy in Bonn . After his return to London and retirement from the British secret service, he was recruited by the KGB in 1961 , to which he handed over secret documents on guided weapons several times . After being betrayed by Dmitri Polyakov , Bossard was arrested in 1965 and sentenced to 21 years, and in 1975 he was released from prison.
