Frank Cordes (born January 16, 1971 in Neustadt ) is a former German handball player . The 1.92 meter tall right-handed player played in the left back space .

Frank Cordes started playing handball at VfL Bad Schwartau . Through the then regional league team TS Riemann Eutin , he joined the Bundesliga team THW Kiel for one season in 1994 , with whom he won the German championship in 1995 . Then Cordes played for over ten years for various first and second division clubs, including SG Wallau / Massenheim and VfL Fredenbeck .

Most recently Cordes played in the regional league at VfL Horneburg . By the end of his career in 2007, he played almost 1,000 games.
