Frank Finkler

Frank Finkler (born January 13, 1970 in Wadern ) is a German CDU politician . He was elected to the Saarland state parliament in 2012 .

Life

Finkler passed his Abitur at the Hermeskeil grammar school and then studied business administration at the Saarland University . He completed this course with a degree in business administration . He then worked in the banking sector and for various companies until he was head of department in the Saarland State Chancellery from 2001 to 2010 . He then worked as head of division in the Ministry of Labor, Family, Prevention, Social Affairs and Sport and has been office manager and personal advisor to the Minister for Federal Affairs and head of the State Chancellery since 2011. He received his doctorate from the University of Duisburg-Essen . His doctoral thesis was entitled Conception of a Government Information System and was published by Gabler Verlag in 2008 .

In the CDU, he was initially chairman of the Düppenweiler local association (2001–2003) and, since 2005, chairman of the Beckingen community association . Since 2002 he has also been a member of the board of the Merzig-Wadern district association. He has been a financial policy advisor on the state board since 2010. Since 2011 he has been chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Beckingen municipal council. In the state elections in Saarland in 2012 , he was elected to the state parliament in the Saarlouis district.

On September 23, 2015, Finkler was elected Director of the State Audit Office by the State Parliament. As a result, he will leave the state parliament.
