Frank Hardtke

Frank Hardtke (born August 22, 1960 in Berlin ) is a German legal scholar and lawyer. Since 2003 he has held a professorship for tax and corporate law at the University of Wismar .

Life

From 1978 to 1981, Hardtke completed a degree in police enforcement at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice in Berlin . In 1981 he received a degree in administrative management and was appointed criminal inspector, and in 1987 he was appointed chief inspector. From 1985 to 1990 he studied law at the Free University of Berlin in addition to his police career . From 1993 to 1998 he was a research assistant at the chair for criminal law and criminal tax law with Wolfgang Joecks at the law and political science faculty of the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald and obtained his doctorate in 1994 with a thesis on criminal tax law.

Hardtke has worked as a lawyer since 1995 and has been based in Greifswald since 1996 . Hardtke became a specialist lawyer for tax law in 1997 and a specialist lawyer for labor law in 2001 . Hardtke is a founding partner of the law firm "Hardtke, Svensson & Partner".

Hardtke has been a lecturer at the German Lawyers' Institute (DAI) and at the Federal Finance Academy in the Federal Ministry of Finance since 1997 . From 1996 to 2005 Hardtke was a lecturer at the Law and Political Science Faculty of the University of Greifswald in the elective and compulsory elective area of tax law . Since 2003 he has been Professor of Tax and Corporate Law at the University of Wismar. In 2005, Hardtke was appointed honorary professor by the Senate of the University of Greifswald . Hardtke's academic work is primarily in the field of tax law and criminal tax law.

He is involved in local politics in Greifswald, is a member of the CDU and was a member of the CDU parliamentary group until he left on April 15, 2011.
