Frank Ludwig (born September 22, 1980 ) is a former German ski jumper .

Career

Ludwig was able to collect points in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup for the first time in the 1998/99 season . When jumping in Lauscha , Thuringia , he reached the podium for the first time on January 26, 2002 when jumping from the Marktiegelschanze with 3rd place. On March 15 of the same year he won his only jumping competition so far in Vikersund .

In the 2002/03 season , Ludwig failed to qualify for the World Cup competitions in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He then continued to take part in competitions in the COC and was able to achieve two more podium finishes in Eisenerz .

He still holds the hill record on the now closed Vessertalschanze in Vesser .
