The Vikersund Hoppsenter is a facility with six ski jumping hills in Vikersund, Norway . All ski jumps are named Vikersundbakken , which mostly means the ski flying hill .
history
The first and so far only ski flying hill in Scandinavia has been in Vikersund since 1936, and has now been the largest of its kind thanks to multiple extensions worldwide. The normal hill K90 was built for the Norwegian Championships in 1989. The smaller systems (K65, K45, K25 and K15) were built in preparation for the 1990 ski flying world championship . The K10 was also built.

The large hill (no. Storbakke ) of category K-105 is mainly used in the ski jumping Continental Cup . From August to November 2008 reconstruction work took place, whereby the previous normal hill (HS 100) was extended to today's large hill (HS 117).
Smaller ski jumps
The smaller ski jumps (no. Småbakker ) are mainly used as school and training jumps . So far none have been held in international competitions there. In the course of expanding the ski flying hill, the K65 hill had to be torn down. At the moment only the K15 and the K25 hill are covered with plastic mattings.
