Tommy Egeberg (born December 7, 1981 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian ski jumper .

Life

Tommy Egeberg jumps off the hill

Egeberg, who starts for Vikersund IF , has been a member of the Norwegian national team since 2002. On March 14, 2002, he took part in an international competition for the first time with the Continental Cup in Vikersund . He finished jumping in 21st place and thus achieved Continental Cup points in his first competition. In 2003 he won the bronze medal in the team competition at the Norwegian Ski Jumping Championships together with Ole Christen Enger , Jan Ottar Andersen and Thomas Lobben .

After three years with mediocre Continental Cup results, he started on March 11, 2005, after he won the silver medal in the team competition of the Norwegian Ski Jumping Championships, for the first time in the national group at the World Cup competition in Lillehammer . He qualified, but with 46th place remained without World Cup points. Further competitions in the FIS Cup and the Continental Cup followed. On January 22nd, 2006, he achieved his best individual placement to date with his 7th place at the Continental Cup jumping on the large hill in Titisee-Neustadt .

At the Norwegian Championship in 2006 he won the gold medal with Thomas Lobben , Anders Jacobsen and Sigurd Pettersen .

On October 8, 2006, he jumped his last international competition so far in the FIS Cup in Einsiedeln . Nationally he jumped 2 years in the Norges Cup , which he won in 2005/06. He has not officially resigned, but has not jumped in competitions since 2007, but still belongs to the Lillehammerhopp team.
