Jahr won silver on the large hill and bronze on the normal hill at the Norwegian Junior Championships in Hurdal , Viken in 2002 . In 2003 she reached fifth place in the overall ranking of the Ladies Grand Prix . Since its introduction in 2004/05, the Norwegian competes in the Continental Cup , the highest international jumping class for women. In the 2005/06 season she was able to win a competition for the first time at the opening competition of the Ladies Summer Tour 2005 in Bischofshofen , so far (as of September 2008) she has achieved eleven podium places. In the overall Continental Cup ranking, she was able to place fourth twice ( 2004/05 and 2005/06).
In 2004, year won gold with the team at the unofficial women's championship held as part of the Junior World Championships in Stryn and came in fifth in the individual. She set her personal best on March 7, 2004 with 155 m on Vikersundbakken . At the Norwegian championships she won five silver and three bronze medals in winter and secured several national titles in summer.
At the Olympic premiere of women's ski jumping, she finished ninth in the individual competition. A year later at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 , she won the silver medal with the mixed relay. In addition, she achieved her best result in the overall World Cup in the 2014/15 season , finishing 12th overall.
Line Jahr ended her career at the end of March 2017.
