Frank Stolper

Frank Stolper (born November 2, 1965 in Salzgitter ) is a German political official . Since November 2019, he has been State Secretary for Finance and Head of the Ministry of Finance and for Europe of the State of Brandenburg .

Life

Stolper passed his Abitur in Neuss in 1986 . From 1986 to 1989 he lived in Königsmünster Abbey in Meschede ( Benedictine Congregation of St. Ottilien ) before serving as a temporary soldier in the German Armed Forces from 1990 to 2002 . There he found up to 2002 different uses as an officer of the army service and completed from 1993 to 1997 studying Political Science at the Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg . After leaving the Bundeswehr, he joined the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg , where he worked in the Office for the Protection of the Constitution until 2006 and then until 2012 as Head of Division IV / 2 “ Fire and Disaster Protection ”.

In 2012 he took over the management of the central service of the state police in Brandenburg , in 2018 he moved back to the Ministry of the Interior and became head of the department “Municipal Affairs, Public Service Law, Fire and Disaster Protection, Rescue Services”. As part of the formation of the Woidke III cabinet , he was appointed State Secretary of Finance in the Ministry of Finance and for Europe of the State of Brandenburg on November 21, 2019 under Minister Katrin Lange , and he was given the position of Head of Office.

Frank Stolper is married and has four children.
