Frankie Provenzano

Francesco "Frankie" Provenzano (born February 12, 1986 in Rome ) is an Italian racing driver .

After Provenzano was active in karting , he took part in some racing series in formula racing in 2006 . The young Italian drove the most races in the Italian Formula Renault this season . In 2007 Provenzano competed in twelve races of the newly founded International Formula Master and finished 20th in the overall standings. In the following season , Provenzano started in 16 races of the International Formula Masters and again reached 20th place. He also took part in the Italian Formula Master and came third in the overall classification.

At the beginning of 2009, Provenzano was signed by Trident Racing for the GP2 Asia series . He made his debut at the third weekend of the season in Sachir and was replaced by Ricardo Teixeira after two race weekends . In the further course of the 2009 season Provenzano was active in the International Formula Master, in which he was 15th. He also started some races in the World Series by Renault .
